Single integrated terminal
Canberra Airport has a single terminal at Majura, approximately 8 km northeast of the Canberra CBD. The terminal handles domestic flights and a small number of international services including Qatar Airways direct to Doha and seasonal Singapore Airlines services.
The terminal is modern, compact, and straightforward to navigate. After collecting your luggage, exit into the arrivals hall where your driver waits with a name board. There is no train or light rail service to Canberra Airport — private transfer is the primary option.
Canberra's altitude (577 m above sea level) makes it one of Australia's cooler capital cities, and the airport can be affected by morning fog in winter. Allow extra time for schedules during June to August.
